poem: the futile chase

I want to write it all
and let it flow,
Hoping to ease my veins
and will help me 
to let you go.

I want to cry it all
and flood this night with tears.
Want to wash away memories
and shout out your name loud
like nobody cares.

When I try to leave it all 
and rest for a while,
all I see a face floating
 with that charismatic smile.

I year for you
every moment,at every place
Hoping someday flashbacks will stop
And my heart will leave this futile chase..

_________________________________ 06-03-2022 When you fall, it feels like this drop is not going to end. If only time could fast forward so that I could see how this is going to end and you wait and wait for that hard cold floor you know anyhow you are going to hit.  Breaths get heavy and the heavy past of other falls flashbacks. In such tough times, I observe all my past falls closely, and it gives me a relief that it was pretty tough  but you managed to get up and walk again. All the lows of my life come back to me, telling the tail that you are more than you think. That one time you felt like this could not be more worse, you learnt a wonderful lesson.
